My work generally starts off as black and white drawings. Ink is applied to paper using various brushes and pens. The drawings are then taken to a digital level, which allows me to add a colourful finish to these conceptual pen and ink illustrations.

Although often dark and gloomy, my work is the result of a quest for beauty. Colours and shapes are inspired by natural elements from my surroundings. Details from mundane objects are tweaked and rendered so that they may surprise the viewer, sometimes with a touch of humour.

Recurring themes are: human relations, Order and Chaos, Man’s activity on earth, urban environments, architecture, cars, music, food and animals.
